Beautiful image.

Nice one! Reminds me of this (Swift Current Creek valley) although it was more late summer then...

Thanks! Any suggestions for making my picture less muddy? Wait for the sun? :)

Excellent, and for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the subtlety in tones.

Apply a mild S curve in PS apply a mask so the curve only hits the areas you want to "pop" a little more>

Wow. It looks like in my country hometown. One afternoon longtime ago I've seen that scene. But your pic has captured all my feeling, reminds me of my beautiful land. Love your pic much!

Thanks for the kind words.
Thanks to Kirk for the suggestion. Very helpful.
The attached image has the curve adjusted slightly. Subtle but better.

Indeed, it's better but the original was already a very nice image.

I agree it's mostly an improvement on an already good image, but you've lost most of the rather lovely golden hue in the sky, which I think is a shame.

Good point, Jeremy. I lost some of the sky colour when I was trying to reduce HDR-induced (?) coloured pixels in the clouds, but I have now followed Kirk's suggestion more accurately and adjusted only parts of the image.
I appreciate the encouragement and suggestions.
Scott.
