Title: Nikon S8100: Where is "normal" FL on the zoom scale?
Post by: kitalight on November 12, 2011, 09:07:40 am
My cousin has the 8100 and I would like to help him... if you have an 8100 I'd appreciate your help....

He needs to establish the "normal" FL setting on the LCD's sliding scale....
It is not mentioned in the manual...

Has anyone with this camera taken some test shots to determine where on the scale is "NORMAL" focal length? By normal I mean 50mm (35mm format) equivalent field of view....

Please understand this is not for any purpose other than determining a "starting point" of view....

Thank you.
