Title: WTB Rollei X-Act2 lens hoods,
Post by: KevinGSaunders on November 11, 2011, 03:34:48 pm
Hi All, I am trying to lay my hands on more lens boards for my Rollei X-Act2. I have a Copal 1 I can sell or trade, and am looking for 2 Copal 0 boards plus one or two of the wide angle models.

Also if anyone knows of a good lens hood solution I am all ears.

Thank you very much.

Kevin

I ordered some of the lens boards from B&H not too long ago, and I'm sure you can also order from DHW directly as well.

As far as hoods, I have seen people using the sinar bellow style hoods that hang from a rod on the top

And here's the shade I have been thinking about for my X-Act2 for price reasons.

If you try it, tell me how you like it and how you got it mounted...

I have seen it and thought the same as you... The mounting is the real issue. I am using a flarebuster card on a flex line but it tends to shake in the wind. I have also been known to use my hand to shade the lens with the shutter release in the other hand!
