I don't know if this is newsworthy or not, but Kodak announced the other day that they have sold their image sensor business to Platinum Equity (news release is HERE (http://www.kodak.com/ek/US/en/Kodak_Sells_Image_Sensor_Business_to_Platinum_Equity.htm)). Platinum Equity specializes in buying distressed assets and Kodak certainly needs capital these days. I think Leica use Kodak sensors but don't know who else does.

The sale has already been announced on another thread on LuLA, and interested parties should post in that thread to avoid duplication.

Thanks, I don't read that thread since I don't have a MF camera. Will lock this up.
