Autumn landscapes in the Vanoise National Park, France, at a more than 6500 feets altitude.

Of the two photos I think the first is the better one with what I see as an S-curve of the creek leading you to the hut and from there into the mountain pass and towards the snow-capped mountains.  The second photo comes across as too blue, particularly the shadow areas in the mountains, especially compared to the shadowed areas of the mountains in first photo which looks more natural to my eye.  Also at left edge of the second photo there are a couple of lighter coloured rock outcrops just entering into the photo which is distracting and could use a minor crop to remove.

I can only echo Andrew's words. The first one is my favorite.
