Title: Jacked up C1P
Post by: ChristopherBarrett on October 27, 2011, 01:51:15 pm
Is it just me or is this version of C1 Pro really fuckin jacked up?

My display turns all weird when I scroll images, I have no tool cursors at all (only the system arrow cursor) and forget trying to use the crop tool.

My assistant is having similar issues on the Windows side too.

Recently wiped my hard drive and did a clean install... no love.

Thoughts?

Chris -

Are you on 10.7.2? If so, read below:

http://www.captureintegration.com/2011/10/13/10-7-2-breaks-brushes-in-c1-6-3-1/

This - so far - seems to only affect 10.7.2 users, so staying (or going back) to 10.7 or 10.7.1 seems to right the ship. I would expect a resolution soon.

If you're not on 10.7.2, then more information should be shared with your favorite Capture One Physician to get to the bottom of it.

For anyone who would like to automatically be the recipient of this type of information as we become aware of it (as well as when we become aware of issue resolutions), it is very easy to have our Tech Notes show up in your email via RSS. Takes 2 seconds:

I'd say unusable with 10.7.2

Just to be picky- Dell R5500 doesn't have a SATA III as standard so it's not so 'futuristic' after all :P (not that a Mac Pro has it... sigh)

I upgraded to 6.3 yesterday on both my W7 box and my MBP, and I've been cranking out client files on the w7 box for the last two days with zero problems.  I just went and processed some files on the MBP and it appears just fine but that is still running 10.6.7 (because it's not broke :) )
