Title: Mahomet's Tomb
Post by: Josh-H on October 22, 2011, 09:10:08 pm
I haven't posted anything from my homeland in a while - but this one is from Mount Buffalo in winter a few months ago I finally got around to processing. The granite rock outcropping illuminated by the setting sun is known as Mahomet's Tomb.

This works for me. I like how you're holding detail throughout despite the wide dynamics of the scene. If that's due to HDR, you've done a good job of keeping it natural-looking.

Thanks. No HDR (its against my religion)  ;D

Nice light, nice composition, nice exposure. What's not to like?

This is a beautiful and very interesting image, demanding that the viewer stop and have a good look.

Very nice!
