Title: Storage Cases for Smaller Lenses, Etc.
Post by: JimAscher on October 16, 2011, 12:16:47 pm
I thought I'd share the following, for anyone interested: Rather than purchase relatively bulky, padded cases (i.e., those manufactured by LowePro) for my smaller legacy and m4/3 lenses and small camera items, I use the following containers available at considerably less cost from Storables.  They lock in stacks and take much less room in my photography equipment cases.  And I believe they provide, being firm plastic, possibly greater protection from external pressure than padded cases.

You know what I like about those cases is that you can see what is inside without having to open it.  For my Leica M lenses during travel I have been buying the LensBaby cases which hold most normal and wide angle lenses of this type, but they cost $15 each.  I just use some masking tape to mark which lens is inside.
