Despite residing in Florida for more than 7 years, I have only seen The Queen 3 times ... and The Nymph never once ... and yet yesterday and the day before I was able to nail both The Queen and The Nymph, respectively. Photographically-speaking of course :)

October has been a great month!

Thanks Mike.

I quit smoking years ago, but I am so satisfied to have the opportunity to get these shots, that I may have to lay back and enjoy a puff or two of satisfaction before I retire for the day ;D

Maybe you ought to lie back, Jack. Otherwise someone who understands English might ask what you're laying.

Uh oh! I see this thread in danger of becoming another linguistic wrestling match, like the "apostrophe" thread.

If it does, Russ, I do hope you will provide photographic illustrations of the distinction you are referring to. Or would you say that each of Jack's images in this thread illustrates a different one of the two words?

Or indeed whom.

Masterful photos, though.

Yes, indeed, lie back is correct. Well done.

That must have been a Freudian slip, Russ, given the provocative nature (pun intended) of my opening post ;)

Glad y'all like the nature shots--even you Russ.
