In the Westfjords region of Iceland.  More images of Súgandafjörður in my blog post. (http://www.parrikar.com/blog/2011/10/01/sugandafjordur/)

I like this image a lot (I'm repeating myself, Rajan!). It has such a nice flow - the road leads to the water just like a river.

Thank you, Francois.  It is perfectly alright to repeat oneself to express delight.  :-)

It's a good photograph.  The composition is excellent.

It seems to me that the water is not level and the photo should be rotated clockwise slightly.  The sky could be darkened and some of the drama there emphasized.

[Addendum:]  Image has since been rotated slightly by OP.

Monito,

I had rotated it but not quite enough.  I have now added a little more rotation.  Thanks.

Rajan,

I always enjoy your Iceland photos and the more recent ones from India. I have been wondering why you have chosen two such distant countires to photograph so beautifully, so today I finally took a look at your gallery, and I begin to understand.

You do landscapes and portraits both with the same skill and sensitivity, which I think is quite rare. Thank you for sharing these treasures with us.

Eric
