Did a week in Scotland last week with the intention of spending lots of time out photographing and walking my wee dog. As it happened the weather was so bad we never got far from the cottage for the first 3 /4 days. Things picked up a bit on Thursday so we headed over to Skye on the rickety little Kylerhea ferry and got up to north of Portree and the Quirang area. The rock formations are stunning there, but the rain returned and we got soaked just after taking this shot.

At least the cloud base was above head height. It's not always the case.

I love that place. Both times I went on Skye I was staying close to Quiraing in Flodigarry or Staffin. ;)
