This photo is taken from Russian Ridge Open Space, in the Mid-Peninsula region of California, looking west into the Santa Cruz Mountains. It was a magical summer morning, actually less foggy than is typical... a wonderful way to wake up with the land.
This is a distant scene, taken with a long 300mm lens on a crop camera. But even from a distance, the light on these hills fascinated me.
