Title: Pnansonic gh2 olympus lens compatability
Post by: bluekorn on July 21, 2011, 05:53:01 pm
Hello,

I have a GH2 for which I purchased a micro 9-18 Olympus lens. The lens mounts just fine but when I fire up the GH2 a message appears saying "please check the status of a lens". I can't get any further. I called Panasonic and they were unable to help. I called B&H where I purchased the lens and they were unable to help. Has anyone out there had experience with the Panny GH2 and the Olympus Micro 4/3 9-18 zoom lens? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Peter

Maybe someone who has tried this combination would just comment, "yes, they work together" or no, they don't work together. Thanks.

Yes, one needs to extend the collapsable lens to its working position and then it wworks just fine. Thank you.
