Title: Adventure Model & Auroras
Post by: Karl Johnston on July 20, 2011, 11:38:12 pm
Ello, I thought I would jump right in with some eye candy!

Taken closer to the end of last year. This particular shoot is one of my favorites.

Yes, before you ask that is the real aurora borealis - all done in one shot, using a small strobe.

More from this series, which is a much larger preview to an exhibition I am hoping to present one day in the coming years: http://karljohnston.see.me/onelife2011/grid (http://karljohnston.see.me/onelife2011/grid)

From the same night as this aurora pano over the slave river. If you are local to Sydney, Austrailia, you may have seen it at the PMA at the sydney convention center for the epson pano awards 2011 (http://www.thepanoawards.com/Top50-11.php?CatId=10&Category=Nature%20-%20%20Open%20Award%20-%20%20Top%2050%20placing%20Images%202011):

Lovely work! The model adds a surreal element to the scenes.

What is in her hand in the first image?
