LR 3.4.1 does not recognize the RAW files from the new G3. That's a fine kettle of fish! Any ideas when the support will be added?
-
LR is generally updated 3-4 times a year. The last update was in April. That means there may be another in July or maybe August. Shouldn't be too long now but we don't know if the G3 will be in this update.

Hi,
you could check if the latest DNG-converter is able to read your RAWs. If yes, convert them to DNG and then import them into Lr.
-
DNG converter? This is new to me. Would this be a separate program, or what? THanks.
-
DNG converter is a small, free tool by Adobe, which can be used to transform oder convert any raw-file into a standard-DNG file. DNG is a free, brand independant and open raw-format firstly invented by Adobe.

Page down to DNG convertor and choose your favorite flavor.

Thanks for the info - but it doesn't support the G3 either. I'll have to wait!
-
They'll update the DNG converter, LR and ACR all at the same time.
-
Support is on the way. Sorry I can't say when, but rest assured we haven't forgotten. :)

Hi,
It used to be three months between LR releases, so I don't think there will be a long wait...
But, I keep asking, why do camera vendors change their raw formats all the time? I understand that they want to add more parameters and data, but it should be possible to do it in a consistent way?!
Best regards
Erik
