I sold my 528c and got the CFii-39MS.  I don't miss the imagebank, but I do miss the back.

I think you understand when I say I still miss the cable & connection to the back. If only firewire would be like this...

Yeah it was nice to have the lock in cable from back to the imagebank with the pivoting connection but you still had firewire from the image bank to the computer and this is where I would see problems.  My macbook pro had FW800 and this is not as good as FW400 is for holding the tethering cable.  The big problem with computers is generally lowest cost is the main design factor.  You could have nice connections like on the imagebank but almost no one would pay even a $1 more for it.
