Title: Lens calibration with Leaf Aptus II and Arca-Swiss R cameras
Post by: Rod.Klukas on May 30, 2011, 11:37:05 pm
I haven't had a chance to see this in action yet, but the new LCC developed by Leaf as described by Yair Shahar looks very promising.

This should simplify the post production requirements for technical camera users.  Will this feature become available to Phase One users in the future?

A couple of questions Yair - I assume multiple movements, for example, a 10mm rise plus a 10mm lateral shift, will work, if the data file is named correctly? Any recommended naming conventions for these files? Also, what lighting setup would you recommend for shooting the LCC reference files?

Thanks,

Thanks Rod,

You can create a seperate file for every movement combination and use up to 32 characters for the naming

I would suggest something like: 47_f8_10U_10L

47mm f8 10mm Up 10mm Left and so on

A bright window or a softbox will work fine. The software will tell you if the image is not diffused well enough
