Title: Lightroom thinks it's 2008

I cannot convince LR that it is 2011, it puts ©2008 on everything on uploading. There must some simple thing I am missing. :-\

Any help would be appreciated.

You're applying a metadata template which you haven't updated since 2008.... Look in the Metadata panel and at the templates. Select the one, and then edit - and save - it.
