Title: Colormunki Movement Question

The base of the Colormunki puck contains two strips of low friction material. I guess this is meant to make the puck glide easily across the surface of the paper. However, I've noticed that sometimes it sort of "sticks" to the paper. It's not sticking because of dry ink. Maybe van der Waals forces or something. A smooth pass across the page can sometimes end with the puck vibrating/skidding across the page.

If you know what I'm talking about, what do you do about this?

I know what you are talking about (the stickyness). Best approach is to use as little downward pressure on the unit as possible. I suppose nose grease on the two strips might work <g>.

I found it was the rubber rollers near the pop out spot measurement guide + the 2 rubber rects on the guide itself, so I angle more towards the front to avoid rubbing the paper with them or catching it on the edge.
