i've looked and from what i've seen, there isn't a difference between the two in the US besides the spectraview puck and s/w? the price for buying them separately from B&H is only 1,447.08 vs. 1,559.99.

No difference. Superb monitor.

The PA241 and Spectraview were cheaper bought separately from B and H as well when I bought mine. There is no difference.

Correct. One is a bundle with the software and OEM’ed mated colorimeter which you might want to have if you don’t have an instrument. As others have pointed out, the hardware of the display is the same.
