"Mille" as in Latin prefix denoting "thousand"… what did you think!? ;)
This is my thousandth post on LuLa! And an opportunity to thank everyone I met along the way, from Michael and friends, to all the members and contributors, for expanding my horizons and knowledge, helping with advice or critique, or simply being there to talk to, exchange ideas, have a dialog, argue, have fun, and occasional rhetorical fight.
Speaking of rhetorical fights, this is also a good opportunity to ask for forgiveness from all those that felt I offended them in any way. Most of my humor, from light teasing to sarcastic, is there for rhetorical purposes only, to remind us not to take us, or most other things in life, too seriously. I rarely intend to use it in any other way but friendly, but I can also understand that some of my jokes can fall flat and some of my teasing perceived as less friendly.
So, guys and gals, thanks a million (a thousand?) again, and lets continue having fun on this great LuLa ride!
And for the benefit of new members, who do not know me that well, I offer my self-portrait:

Phew! For a moment there I thought you were going to say the "Mille High Club"!
Now that would have been something. :P
Well done anyway!

That club demonstrated nothing but either impatience or last-minute thinking, depending on whether they were coming or going.
