The question is simple: How to get rid of the imperfections of a diamond wedding ring...? As you see there are tiny cracks and spots on the diamond on the wedding ring. How can I get rid of them and make the ring look perfect?

I know you would hate me if I suggested to buy a better-quality diamond in the first place ;), but in absence of that, I would guess that only a careful cloning in Photoshop (or Lightroom) would help.
-
shoot it immersed in a clear liquid with a similar refractive index as the diamond ?
Might not work on the spots though. Carefull cloning might work.

:) The ring belongs to one of my brides. I do wedding photography.

Wouldn't that make the diamond disappear completely?

Maybe the spots are just muck on the underneath surface. Has it been properly cleaned by a jeweler?

It is possible. I am not sure. I should ask a jeweler....
