Just read about this today...

Runs Android 3.0, and is Flash compatible. Lightroom for Android? Possible? That's been a major complaint with the iPad. Time will tell...

Basically any of the non-Apple tablets will be Flash compatible. There's even an app for the iPad that will allow you to view Flash content via a format converter. I thought I had a post about it on m FB page but can't find it now.
Samsung is coming out with their second generation of the Galaxy Tab soon. Acer is coming out with 3 new products, a 5" phone, a 7" tablet and a 10" tablet. By the middle of this year, there should be plenty of tablet product available.
The Xoom isn't going to be cheap. Right now, it looks like it'll be the most expensive tablet out there, http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/22/motorola-xoom-launching-february-17th-at-best-buy/ but the feature set and specs look to be about the best as well.

But it would not be a trivial matter to port LR to the Android OS. It would be the same issue of porting it to Linux and Adobe shows no signs of wanting to do that. I suspect if the Android base becomes large enough it might happen. I have an Android phone and like it quite a lot.

For me, any of these tablets need to support external storage for offloading photos while traveling. I can easily take 500 GB of photos on a long trip, so the typical 64GB of Flash that these devices carry simply won't be enough. To the best of my knowledge, none of these support USB host and external storage. Maybe when the iPad 2 comes out next week, I'll get some lovin'.

From Motorola PR: "Motorola XOOM will include full support for Adobe® Flash® Player® for accessing the rich video and animations of the web, to be available after launch."
How long will be "after launch"? ???
