Title: Upgrade Academic Version of LR?
Post by: Alistair on February 15, 2011, 09:29:15 am
I have LR1.4 which I purchased as an academic a few years ago. I am no longer in that world and was wondering if I could upgrade to 3.3 from that purchase or do I need to buy the full version?

The ugrade will upgrade version 1.x & 2.x . Just download 3.3 and purchase the lcense from Adobe online.

There is no difference between the academic version and the regular version except price, so the regular upgrade will work.

Its been a little while. If I remember correctly it wouldn't accept my old academic code for the upgrade and I had to call it in. It took maybe 15 minutes for them to straighten it out. That was from CS3 to CS4.

Just to let those interested know that the upgrade from LR 1.4 academic to 3.3 went perfectly. No problem at all. Thanks for the input.
