Title: Printing Error Message From CS5
Post by: na goodman on February 12, 2011, 11:13:58 am
Ok, this is a first in all the years I have used Photoshop. Does anyone know what this message means and how to  correct it. I have restarted both PS and my Mac. "There was an error opening your printer.
Printer functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents". I can print from any other program except CS5. I'm just hoping the solution is not to reinstall photoshop. I could live with resetting the prefs if you think that would help.

You can tell how patient I am. After doing a search I saw on the Adobe forum that resetting the prefs should do it. It did. Just in case anyone else gets the message.

I'm glad you got it fixed.
I wish I could solve some of the problems I have from time to time in about 20 minutes.  ;)
