Title: LR3 imports keeps disappearing.

What gives? I have two folders of images that will not stay put after import. I keep having to re-import them, Then I work on the files for awhile and save and backup the catalogue, but next time I open Lightroom they are gone again and I have to syncronise the folder again and reimport them in place so I can work on them somemore. This has happened about ten times with the same two folders and files over and over again. Did I acidentally change some setting? Any thoughts?

Have you tried optimizing the catalog? That can often resolve quirky behavior.

Or export your existing catalog to a new one and then reimport the problematic images?
