Title: If I upgrade to the newest version of photoshop...
Post by: DeanSonneborn on February 06, 2011, 11:45:17 am
I am using the current version of LR but the previous version of photoshop. If I take a LR image into CS4, it gets rendered into a TIF and when it comes back the LR it is still a TIF and no longer in the dng format. So, if I upgrade to the newest photoshop will I be able to make photoshop adjustments to LR images and be able to retain the original LR format?

If by "original LR format" you have in mind a native camera RAW or DNG format, then a Photoshop-adjusted file can not be saved back to those, regardless of the PS version.
