This came out a couple of weeks ago. What problems did you have with the Mac version? I just downloaded it and placed on my flash card and then into the camera, no problems...

hi,
risking to state the obvious...
canon has released a new version of the 1dsmk2 firmware.
the following issues are addressed by the new version:
1. Three new languages (Russian, Traditional Chinese, and Korean) added to the menus.
2. Reliability of communication with particular CF cards improved.
let's hope that they really fixed the issues with large cf (2gb+) cards.

i had trouble making the mac version work, but the windows version did the job.

hi tim in arkansas,
the camera didn't recognize the file as firmware data, i downloaded it twice, tried different cf cards (2gb and smaller)...
the windows version worked fine though.
o
