Title: Comparison between Pentax 645 FA 35mm and Rollei Schneider 40mm
Post by: locpham on January 17, 2011, 11:34:25 pm
Does anyone out there know how the Pentax 645 FA 35mm compared to the Rollei Schneider Super Angulon 40mm f 3.5 or visa versa?

Thanks.

While I don't know of anyone who has done the direct comparison you mention, the Pentax FA 35mm is a spectacular lens, and has been tested as truly superb vs. its 'Blad and Mamiya counterparts.

With the 645D, my copy front focuses a LOT.  Hopefully this can be corrected by Pentax on a forthcoming service trip.  When it's "on" the resolution is outstanding.
