Title: Adding leading 0s to sequence numbers
Post by: dreed on January 09, 2011, 05:00:34 am
Is it possible to have lightroom insert leading zeros into its sequence numbers so that I end up with today-001.JPG rather than today-1.JPG?

The problem here is that without the leading zeros, when the files are sorted I end up with:
today-1.jpg
today-10.jpg
today-11.jpg
today-2.jpg

With leading zeros, the files sort like this:
today-01.jpg
today-02.jpg
today-10.jpg
today-11.jpg

At present I work around this with shell scripts, but I was wondering if there is a way to get LR to do this for me?

In the Filename Template Editor dialog, look for Sequence and Date. you can add up to 5 leading zeroes.
