Title: Print Dimensions
Post by: Robert Boire on December 29, 2010, 03:23:52 pm
Hello,

I have a general question about print dimensions.

If I choose to print full size on a particular medium (say 8.5 x11) and I do not select borderless, the printed image is obviously less than full size. What happens to the image - is it cropped by the printer drive to fit in the margins or is it simply down-sized?

Thanks

Sorry I don't quite follow:

Media = 8.5x11 and the printed image is obviously less then full size.

What/Which full-size? Obviously?

In general it depends on the printer driver what happens with an image that is larger then the paper size, i guess most are just cropped to the printable area of the paper.

What is the background of such question?
