Title: Spruce Grouse
Post by: Glenn Bartley on December 13, 2010, 09:42:08 am
Here's one from my Churchill Workshop last June. We had several of these beauties one day in the forest. Trying to get them to sit still long enough for a photo was frustrating. But this one finally cooperated. I believe the pink stains on the birds face are from it eating some type of berries? All I know is I can hardly wait to get back up to Churchill in 2011 :)

Cheers!

Great photo with tremendous detail. Filling with flash on these shots really makes the pop.
