Title: Ecology of Inks: pigment vs. dye vs. toner
Post by: dmcginlay on December 08, 2010, 02:38:22 pm
Can anyone provide any analysis on the 'ecology of inks?'

In particular are water based dye-based inks more ecologically-friendly than pigment?

Are toner based printers the least ecologocally-friendly?

One question that comes up in discussion a fair amount of time, 'Is the blacer toner pigment more or less ecologically friendly the water based dye printers?'

Thanks,

Don
