Is there any ink jet paper that can be cold laminated that could be used to create a gallery wrap look? Im looking for a paper with a wide gamut that will end up with a lustre like surface.

Sorry you have not received any replies to date. It may be your terminology, "Create a canvas gallery look".
Do you mean you want to do a gallery wrap not using canvas but photo paper? Also when you say laminate do you mean with a roll laminator?
You can put adhesive/ laminate on just about any paper with a roll laminator. Just received my Seal so have not begun my tests. I will be starting with Lexjet Metallic and roll laminating a gloss laminate on the print. Then mounting to DiBond.

Yes I would like to create a gallery wrap look not using canvas. I do have a Coda Cold mount laminator.

Is this what motivated you? I saw them at PhotoPlusExpo in NYC. http://artsycouture.com/ Kind of a neat idea. They are mounting on to MDF.

You may have to call them to get specific information. They also do canvas but you have to call for more specifics.

I do have a source for photos mounted on blocks that is reasonable however they use formica sides. I am looking to make on my own but want the "Gallery Wrap" look using regular paper from an Ink jet printer.

If you go to YouTube and google drytac you will find a video showing the process of laminating a print to mdf and then wrapping the image around the sides to the back. I will have to view the video again but am pretty sure it does not mention the paper type. It's also possible he used the hot press,not sure. I would try laminating some of your favorite papers first,then see if they can be folded around the sides and backs retaining their flexibility without cracking the paper fibers.
Your about a week ahead of me as I will be pretty much doing my own tests.

Don't know what Artsycouture is using. Wish I had inquired more when I was there. I do remember looking at them and wondering how the heck they were doing it. Seems to me that they are not actually gallery wrapped. The images on the sides look to be put on separately. Just looked at the website. They are using Kodak Endura paper.

I also looked at their product carefully but could not detect a seam, so I am assuming it is wrapped, but I could b wrong.

Go to YouTube and type in edge wrapping mdf. He does it in the hot press not a roll laminator.

Their product has no folded over corners. Drytac mdf video was good. Not cheap to have them do it but looks kind of tedious to do in house.

OK I found the youtube video. My intention is to use the Breathing Color EeasyWrappe system for this.
