Title: Replacing Cone ink cartridges one-by-one?
Post by: mshea on November 07, 2010, 04:07:08 pm
I'm printing on a new Epson 3880 and I'll have to start replacing cartridges pretty soon. I plan on switching to Cone inks. They recommend replacing all the cartridges at once. I seem to remember more than one person mentioning that they just replaced the Epson cartridges with the Cone ones as needed and didn't encounter any problems. Being the penny pincher that I am, I'd rather go that route, unless there's a compelling reason to replace all the Epson cartridges at once.

Any thoughts?

Just replace everything at once and make your life easier. That way you can see if everything works fine and get replcements if needed. Also you will have your originals as backups in case something fails to be recognized.
