Title: The Enchantments, Leavenworth Washington
Post by: spbimages on September 28, 2010, 07:33:19 pm
Just got back from The Enchantments close to Leavenworth Washington. What a place. It did take us 8 hours to pack in 7 miles and 4,000 feet in elevation gain. But well worth the effort.

Awesome! I've got a permit for camping in the core Enchantment zone in a week and a half. Hoping that the weather holds up!

How were the larches? Has the color peaked yet?

The larches were just starting to turn, so your timing should be good. The weather this week is clear, last week (when I was there) it rained. Good luck and I am looking forward to a couple if images on this site.
