Title: USB Card Reader not being displayed in the MAC Finder Device List

My USB Card Reader is Working but is not listed among the named devices in MAC Finder windows.

My USB Card Reader is connected, reading the files on my CF Cards..and apparaantly trouble free, but is not being displayed in the Device List in "Finder" windows.

Any ideas?

I guess that you've already checked your Finder's sidebar preferences?

Nope I had never noted that there were sidebar preferences available.

Selecting external drives solved the issue.

the cards had up previously appeared in the finder sidebar, but as they "are back" Im not going to sweat why the "momentarily" "dropped out".
