This will come as no surprise to many here, but I'd like to mention some fantastic customer service that I've been getting lately from Think Tank Photo.
Being in Bangkok sometimes makes it hard to be selective about where you buy specialist equipment, and a sudden need to buy a quality rolling camera bag meant that I had to settle for a display model of a Think Tank Airport Takeoff that had obviously had some energetic customers vigorously trying out the handle. Once it was home and fully loaded, the action in the handle was sticky and it didn't always extend correctly on the first try.
Not being able to find a replacement bag, I emailed Think Tank to ask if there was another dealer in the country or if I could pick up a new one in Singapore. Instead, I got a quick response from Chris there who, instead of finding a replacement bag, immediately shipped a new handle directly to me through UPS to Thailand.
Now, it's an expensive bag and there really should be no issues with the quality of an essential component, but Think Tank's quick and personal response (from the opposite side of the world) really was exceptional and not one that I've come to expect from many companies.
