Title: Epson Exhibition Fiber roll pre-orders!
Post by: neile on July 22, 2010, 03:00:16 pm
Just to an e-mail from the folks at Shades of Paper announcing they are taking pre-orders for rolls of Epson Exhibition Fiber paper. WOOHOO!

Now I know those of you in Europe are going "huh?", but for those of us in North America EEF simply hasn't been available in rolls. But apparently it is now (or at least shortly!)

For those that haven't used this paper it's a lovely alternative to Ilford GFS. Slightly better hand-feel, and less extreme on the warm tone.

I don't know what the big deal is. It is Innova Ultrasmooth Gloss and has been available in rolls before Epson even released their version of it in sheet form.

These Innova papers are much nicer than Iford and predate them by a long time. Only problem in rolls is they curl like son of a...and they have a lot of obas for the most part.

Shades of Paper is offering a Buy 2 get 1 free deal on the EEF rolls through Sept 30th (according to the daily special e-mail I got today). I'm also betting that the price on the website right now is list price, and if you contact them directly they'll be able to do better.

I hope so because the price showing right now is actually more expensive per sq/ft than the sheets

Hi Gang,

That Is correct.. The Pricing Is High all we had to go on was the MSRP as we where waiting on Offical Costs from Epson!

The rolls are shipping to us on Monday.. So we where taking Pre Orders and Like always we at Shades prefer to set up pricing with our customers so if you call and Talk with any of My Crew They will be more than happy to help with pricing on monday..

Thanks for the sharing our email Gang!

Stay Cool
Jim Doyle
