Title: Looking for print tutorial
Post by: DRSeay on July 22, 2010, 12:37:12 pm
I saw a tutorial on using the print module to add borders that I cannot locate again. My memory is that the author used frames within frames to achieve various looks. It seems like it maybe used identity plates and/or watermarking to achieve the frame effect. Anyone have any links they think are what I'm looking for?
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
David

David:  In Lightroom, basically what you're doing is creating a background file and using it as a custom Identity Plate in Lightroom's print module.  I imagine you'll find what you're looking for here: http://bit.ly/LRTips (http://bit.ly/LRTips), but with links to over 130 sites it might take you a while.  I'd start with this one from Lightroom News:
http://lightroom-news.com/2007/02/18/makin...e-print-module/ (http://lightroom-news.com/2007/02/18/making-and-using-borders-in-the-print-module/)

It's a few years old, but it should give you an idea.
