I was recently discussing this subject with a friend. But Pete's experience indicates it certainly isn't a plug and go!

What kind of delta-E figures are you getting with the Eizo, and is there a wide variation in the values along grayscale? I'm not familiar with what the high end is capable of...

The Eizo review & recommendation is the strangest I've read.  Am I to understand that Eizo designed a high-end graphics monitor but never plugged it into a Mac Pro to see if it functioned under its most likely conditions of use?   If so, this is engineering in the BP league.
