I just read the AnandTech review (http://www.anandtech.com/show/3754/a-new-30-contender-hp-zr30w-review) on this new 30" HP monitor.
I have a new 17" MacBook Pro i7. I think this would be a beautiful monitor to hook up for Photoshop & Lightroom editing.
Any thoughts... anyone....?

I'm also looking occasionnally at current displays, waiting for my old CRT to really die...
I'd say that in the bang-for-the-buck county of big displays territory, the Dell U2711 might be also worth a glance : IPS, wide gamut, 10bits LUT, less pixel pitch and just a bit less pixels in height (16/9 vs. 16/10, ie 1440 vs. 1600pixels).
In Europe, it sells for significantly less (900€) than the price of the ZR30w (1400€).
