Title: Photo workshops in Central America?
Post by: feppe on June 29, 2010, 02:52:19 pm
I'm going to Nicaragua in November and perhaps early December, and was wondering if there are any good and reputable workshops in the region, financially within the reach of those without a trust fund. I'm planning to travel around Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama, but since I'll be there for 3 weeks I'd consider going out of my way for a good one.

I'm looking for something geared to the advanced amateur (one day I'll be one  ), workshop on taking actual photos, prefer artistic slant rather than commercial/stock, mostly general travel, landscape and/or people - no birding or other photography which requires me to haul back-breaking glass for three weeks.. English required.

A good starting point might be Outdoor Photographer's page (http://www.outdoorphotographer.com/travel-and-workshops/international/central-america.html) devoted to workshops in that region.

Thanks, there's at least one promising one!
