Hi there. It happened to me several times. While working with the brush if you change to the hand tool PS will freeze.
You''ll be able to highlight other tools but the pointer will show always the hand tool, and you'll only be able to move the photo.
Quitting Photoshop won't be enough. You'll have to restart the computer. PS CS5, Mac OSX 10.6.3.
Am I the only one experimenting this bug?
Thanks, Carlo

I occasionally had a similar prob with PS CS3 on OSX 10.5 except that it froze on the block eraser. No repeat so far on CS5 / OSX 10.6 luckily.
Have you tried trashing the prefs file or running disc repair from the OSX install disc.

Not for nothing...but are you talking about Camera Raw 6 or Photoshop CS5? If you look at the sub-forum, you would realize this is the wrong place to be asking about Photoshop issues...

Thanks all for your reply. Jeff, your are right. I've chosen the wrong sub menu. I'm afraid I can't repair. On the other hand it happened again one minute ago. I was in PS 32bit mode. I quit and reopened in 64 bit and I could use all the tools. Quit and reopened in 32 bit and the hand was still frozen. I had to restart the computer!
