[font color=\'#000000\']I have noticed the contest on the home page, saying that this site is giving away a "revolutionary" camera, to be released at Photokina. The only things I've seen that come CLOSE to that description are some very expensive cameras. He can't be giving away a double-frame (36x48 mm) Mamiya, can he? Maybe a D2X, but even that seems like a lot... Is it the new Minolta DSLR with anti-shake in the body? Nice feature, but the camera is otherwise a follower. Same with the Fuji S3-if the DR claims are true, it has one revolutionary feature. I'd LOVE to see the output from the S3 and hope it isn't as slow as it seems like it may be... That one could be called a revolution, because, for most of what people here do, DR is one of our primary limitations. If it works, it may well be a big deal-but those few who've played with one are saying that it doesn't really work (reserving judgment until I see landscape shots from an S3). I haven't seen a single compact that appears to be anything special-lots of followers.
