Spectacular set of photos, and definitely not the cliched images. On my one trip to Death Valley a couple of years ago we had beautiful weather every day, with just enough friendly clouds to keep the skies from being boring. But your shots convey much better the violence of the area. Nice work!

The numbers reported for wind strength were between 40-60 mph. It was so gusty that it rendered tripod use impossible (as least to me). But what a magical time to be outdoors!
