Howdy all. What is the best time for the lupines in Nova Scotia? I am also looking for ideas such as landscapes and light houses, any input would be appreciated. I'll probably go before July.
Thanks,
Dan

Before July seems early for lupines, but it's been a long time since I was there. I would have said August, myself. Cape Breton is part of Nova Scotia, and it's almost another world. The Annapolis Valley is incredible. The Citadel at Halifax if you're into history; there are also some great shorelines just east of Halifax. Lunenberg is a little touristy now, but there are several other small towns on the south shore. Also 'The Ovens'. Should someone mention Peggy's Cove? Let me know what your plans are and I should be able to help you out. I live about 20 minutes from Peggy's Cove.

Here's a little help in the lupine area...
I'm in Maine near Acadia Nat Park and as of now the vast majority of lupines are still growing leaves and some are starting to form bud heads tho I have a couple of plants behind my store that are showing color in the bud. Might be cause they are protected by the building.

2007, July 2, Prince Edward Island. The island is jammed with Lupins. Gorgeous.

Whenever I hear lupins I always remember the Monty Python sketch with John Cleese as Dennis Moore.
You can see the scene on YouTube here:
