This should be in Coffee Corner (if even there).

I think that using this forum to leverage your argument with Paul there is not a good idea. As it's politics it's a very very bad idea.
Oh and just to put it into perspective Paul dislikes me personally, I'm no fan of his. Bringing flame bait politics into this forum and potentially to advance your own position in an argument is trolling of the very worst kind. I hope this thread is deleted immediately.

Though I agree with many of your points in that forum, it has no place here. On the photo forum I moderate, from very painful experience, we have outlawed discussions of politics and religion. This thread would have lasted two seconds.

That long, huh? You're a pretty liberal moderator!

We tried a painful experiment, letting people post for discussion pretty much whatever they wanted in a Lounge, this is at the LargeFormat Forum (http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/index.php). There came a time when if you pulled up "New Posts" the first 15 posts would be politics. One out of three threads were nasty political discussions (and even threatening at times) with nothing related even vaguely to photography. So we clamped down-to most peoples appreciation. A handful cried censorship, but it is now a friendly place to hang out and discuss PHOTOGRAPHY!

Just read some of the link...
Jeez, everybodys got an opinion...who woulda thunk it.
There's a historic precedent, however. Ford auto sales remain unaffected.
