I'm a new member from Portland, OR. This is my first post here at Luminous Landscape. I was visiting my sister in Spangle, WA last week. My brother-in-law and I went out to a piece of property that my grandfather used to farm years ago. It had been stormy all day, but we managed to catch some great light. This house used to belong to the DeFord family. My aunt can remember visiting in their home for church meetings when she was quite young. By the time I came along, the house had been abandoned, but I can remember playing here with my cousins during harvest while our dads worked.

These photos were shot with my Canon XSi and Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens.

Comments and critique are welcomed.

Greg

Hi There, and welcome to the list!

Have you tried pushing these around in B&W?

Mike.

Welcome!

Really like that subtle, understated tonality and those luscious dark areas.  Great interpretations of the subject.  Excellent work.

I don't consider myself to be very skilled yet with post-processing. But I think they definitely have potential as B&W. It would be a fun project for learning the process. Greg
