This type of shot benefits from high, res, and it does not look sharp on my Eizo... probably just the jpeg.

...could you have moved right a few paces, used a longer lens and T & S and looked down with the wall/rock face  on the right of the picture?

The soft-focus effect looks intentional to me. But that said, I think I'd also prefer a sharper rendition.

I actually really like the hazy feel, I think it's Spring-like. Nice shot.
